| Perfect Storm Georgette Shirt
We use text to help to evoke accurate impressions, especially of colour. This print was interesting because it does combine high tones of purply pinks and turquoise with a milky grey ground - perfect for this seasons colour palette. The feeling for these colours is the light you sometimes just before a summer storm - it is overcast but the quality of the light still illuminates the saturated colours of the flowers. That's what this print looks like. It is very appealing. It also looks really edgy with the charcoal pinstripe. You can easily wear this as dressy with white or black (or a blue or purple/pink - where indicated these are good matches with other available separates) but we think this garment is really great for work as well, despite it being rather showy and pretty - maybe it's the grey..... It has a 40's wide collar so a slightly jackety feel, then 3/4 sleeves with a cuff and a dramatic bow at the front. The hemline comes to a cross over point, giving length without volume. Natural shell buttons, of course.
