This fabric is a viscose linen. It is jet black and made with a very dense weave and small fibres so it has a slightly silky finish. It has ridges at variable intervals which are reminiscent of a pin stripe because of the look this generates.

The fabric is very stable so we have cut it on the bias to create drape and suppleness.

These boot leg pants are cut on the bias to make the most of the quality of the fabric. You would not know they were bias cut as the fabric is so stable but they will stretch and give when you move and sit.

Wear with the matching jacket or shirt and with any tunics or shirts made from a quality fabric – like the white embroidered lawn shirts and tunics. Can be worn more casually with jersey as well.
