This fabric is a viscose linen. It is jet black and made with a very dense weave and small fibres so it has a slightly silky finish. It has ridges at variable intervals which are reminiscent of a pin stripe because of the look this generates.

The fabric is very stable so we have cut it on the bias to create drape and suppleness.

Flouncy skirts are in! And this one is lovely, versatile and particularly flouncy.

The top part is bias cut so fits nicely without being bulky and the circular frill in this particular quality of fabric flutes beautifully and ….flounces!
