The fabric is truly superior in quality and handle. It is a true crepe – dry handle and matt and dense but is light weight and drapes like silk. It is Italian in origin and has all the hallmarks of the best Italian fabrics for both the yarn and the weave.

The best way to describe the colour of this fantastic drapey crepe/matt viscose is Chinese Red – it has a pinkish undertone and is as if it has a dash of cream. It has a softness and strength as a well as a classic feel.

Normally red mixed with black can be a bit brash but this particular colour is perfect with black.

This tunic is cut at the bodice in line with the dominant trends this season. There is a little gathering at the centre which adds softness to this very smart garment. The neckline and cuffs are trimmed.

This tunic is part of a co-ordinated collection – wide pants in both black and red, a pleated skirt in red, as well as trimmed and plain tops.
