This fabric is a viscose linen. It is jet black and made with a very dense weave and small fibres so it has a slightly silky finish. It has ridges at variable intervals which are reminiscent of a pin stripe because of the look this generates.

The fabric is very stable so we have cut it on the bias to create drape and suppleness.

Those are the details – the upshot is its gorgeous!!!

This jacket – 40” long – is smart and formal looking, with the back of the neck rising slightly and shaped into the neck with small darts. Then we have put a small cheeky frill at the cuff.

This teams up with the two skirts and bootleg pants to make a suit for work. Having said that – accessorise with a hot colour and a corsage and wear it to a smart daywear occasion or even a wedding.

Will look great with a print skirt in a top quality fabric.
