Cropped shaped jackets are in this season. This version is spot on - with Dress Suit references (especially when worn with the matching wide pants) - we have mixed the matt and shiny sides of this great fabric.

The fabric is grainy - like a dupion - and the shiny side is a soft matt shine.

The fabric is supple and also has body - so it behaves a little like a duchess satin.

This jacket has a flattering, dressy, 40's collar, is cut in panels which are shaped. We have cropped the jacket and ended the panels in slits.

Underneath (part of the garment) and making up the 35" length, is a silk jaquard georgette with tiny velvet polka dots.

This is a great jacket - versatile and very dressy. Wear over the co-ordinating dress, skirt or wide pants or with a print skirt/dress or a coloured pant.
