very so often we happen upon a fabric which is so delicious that we buy it long before we know what to do with it.
 
This wonderful fabric is 100% silk - in a dark dusky navy with a soft gold thread woven into squares.
 
We have made 3 items in this fabric. All classics. A smart waistcoat, a bias skirt and this lovely embroidered jacket.
 
The jacket can be teamed up with plain pants and skirts - especially in stone/gold/oatmeal colours - and worn for work. Worn with the matching skirt it is best suited to a really dressy event. You could wear this to a board meeting - but its a bit dressy for an interview unless its for a directorship! .....or a large bankloan!

 
We were very careful with the choice of embroidery - to pick out the colour of the gold thread. The buttons are a white gold colour etched with a simple geometric motif.
 
This jacket is extraordinary value for pure silk with hand made embroidery - it should retail at £250.00.
